Music Review: Clean Kutt & Rob "Standing Out"
What's up everyone! I'm back with another music review. This time it's on the single "Standing Out" by Clean Kutt & Rob. I first found out about this guy through my people over at South East Hip Hop Magazine, just browsing through the new joints posted on their page. I listened to the first few secs. and I wasn't interested.... at first. Not that the song was "wack", just didn't move me within the first few seconds. No biggie, I just went on and read some new posts and kept it moving. That was a few weeks back.
Then I forgot all about this cat, but just the other day, my dude Jay of South East Hip Hop Magazine asked me if I could review some more music, and although I haven't written a blog entry in awhile I said "sure" (because Jay will hook me up if I need something, so I'm always down to listen to music from his music pool).
Then when he sent over the "Standing Out" jawn from Clean Kutt, I suddenly remembered and.... remembered not liking it (well at least the first few sec. of it anyway). I know Jay and South East Hip Hop Magazine don't get behind any wack records, so I decided to give it another shot and this time listen to it longer than a few quick secs.
and.........
I'm glad I did because I can certainly rock with this joint. The beat is real simple, but effective with a nice West Coast flavor to it, and the video itself is nice and clean. Nice rides, and you can tell Clean Kutt really put some thought into the presentation!
I'm glad I let the joint ride out and let it sit with me before making a quick judgement call, and I encourage the rest of you all to do the same by listening and watching the music video above.
Shout out to South East Hip Hop Magazine.

Single Review: Mr. Boom Boom Bang "Trust Nobody"
I'm loving this new single from Mr. Boom Boom Bang titled "Trust Nobody"! It's very intense and it's the time of song that you put on when you are just "mad at the world". Something to work out and exercise to, something to let out your frustrations and anger to when listening, this track will definitely work you out and get you pumped up!
It's produced by Mr. Boom Boom Bang himself, and it's featured on his latest mixtape The Rebuild!

Single Review: Mr. Boom Boom Bang "Good Ones"
I know I said this the last time, I promised that I would upload more music and update the blog frequently, but I've just been getting real busy in the real world that I just didn't find the time. Just recently, The Giant Blast hit me with a lot of new music, and after hearing the music I've been inspired to do some more music reviews and I will keep the blog entries coming!!
This week, I want to put you all on to the lead single to Mr. Boom Boom Bang's latest mixtape The Rebuild titled "Good Ones". Now this is a track everyone should be able to relate to. In this song Mr. Boom Boom Bang talks about taking some of the women that treated him right in the past for granted in favor of being with ratchet hood chicks, and overlooking the "Good Ones". The beat is produced by Mr. Boom Boom Bang himself and starts of with nice percussion and bongo sounds that eventually lead into the powerful beat that will stick in your mind just like most of Mr. Boom Boom Bang's tracks. You can listen to the song by clicking the youtube video above.

Single Review: PerfectPryzm "Dare To Live A Dream" (Remixed by The KlubJumpers)
It's been awhile, but I'm going to start back updating the blog frequently now. I got a new track from The Giant Blast digital record pool and Jay asked me to review it. The name of this track is called "Dare To Live A Dream" by Australian electronic duo PerfectPryzm made up of Anton (vocalist) and Andrew (songwriter), and the track was remixed by Grammy Nominated dance music producers The KlubJumpers.
I am really feeling the beat on this track, The KlubJumpers did a great job composing an energetic club track that is sure to make anyone hit the dance floor, and Anton's vocals match perfectly, melting into the backdrop. Anton's voice sounds so good over this beat that he sounds as if he's an extra instrument instead of an actual person singing along to the piece. This song also has an uptempo "light" sound to it, that will surely put you in the mood to move along to the melody.
You can hear a clip of the single by clicking the embedded youtube video above. This is surely a track I would get behind and I also encourage other DJs to do the same, especially to keep the party rocking!

Single Review: D.I.V. "U C Me" featuring Hop Da Great & Nuf $ed
This is the latest video from D.I.V. from his mixtape The Vision's The Foundation featuring Hop Da Great and D.I.V.'s partner Nuf $ed. I'm absolutely feeling this track! Each artist goes hard on their verse, not a wack line on here. I'm especially feeling the metephores that D.I.V. uses on his verse. The video is also real crisp and it's not the usual video with "random stuff" going on.... this video comes on and plays like a movie and it compliments the track very well. I recently sent a promotional beat to D.I.V. through The Blast and hopefully I'll be hearing him spit some hotness to it very soon! In the meantime I am surely supporting this joint.

Single Review: 2 Chainz - Yuck Feat. Lil Wayne (Mora Cover) "Official Video"
My boy Jay (best known as the man behind The Giant Blast) hit me with this youtube video, and usually when I get lots of videos and MP3s from... up and coming... "guy's I never heard of" I just skip it and come back to it later.... but the reason I checked this out was a) it was from Jay, he doesn't promote BS and b) the name seemed awfully familiar then I realized where I remembered him.... I remember seeing his video "Let 'Em Know" on all the blasts and blogs from last year! Remembering enjoying the video sparked my curiosity for this joint, so I clicked it and I was real impressed! Mora stepped his lyrical game up for this track, and he did a better job owning the track than 2 Chainz and Lil' Wayne did. "Yuck" actually feels more like a Mora joint the way his voice blends in with the track and the video goes right along with the track very well. Listen to it for yourself and give your opinion! Mora keep doing your thing! This video surely gets a nod from me.
